Boinc manager reporting falsely no Nvidia GPU.

Posted 28 Jun 2023 by mikey Post: Boinc manager 7.22.2 cant see Nvidia GTX 1030 x3 GPU's, yet previous Boinc 7.20 could. I'm running Win 10 Enterprise 2x6 core's 192 Gb of memory and 7TB of HDD's. Had no probles with Version 7.20. FIRST try another reboot of the system, mine takes a 2nd reboot to find the gpu after the latest round of Windows updates, if that doesn't work try reinstalling the gpu drivers again |

YOU have caused NOTHING but problems at Bitcoin Utopia and yet YOU have zero credits there!!! What gives you the RIGHT to come in and demand fricking changes to a system y9u ADMITTEDLY know NOTHING about!!! You did NOT come the Bitcoin Utopia asking 'questions' you came in THREATENING to 'whitelist' it at GridCoin which is where YOU are from!! YOU do have and ulterior motive here, YOU 'CM' or 'GC' or whatever the heck your 'real' name is have asked questions, 99% of which have been answered, some even by the Admin in charge and yet you STILL are not satisfied!!! YOU have even caused changes to be made in the Forums, prior to YOUR postings ANYONE could post there, now NO ONE CAN POST in ANY forum, until some controls are put in to stop people like you from taking over ALL the forums!!! I would say that if you don't like the way Bitcoin Utopia is running Campaign #7 then DON'T RUN IT, but you don't crunch there AT ALL!!! Bitcoin Utopia ALSO told you to go ahead and 'whitelist' it at GridCoin, obviously that FAILED miserably and now you have come HERE spewing your filth and hate!! When I click on your name I see you have ZERO credits in ANY Boinc Project, if you don't like the way things are being here at Boinc GO AWAY!!! |

My suggestion would be to allow Team Founders to see this data anyway, keep the average person from seeing it, but if you join a Team then the Team Founder CAN see it, after all it's THEIR Team that's being affected by the cheating. People used to hop from team to team when team total credit went with them, when that stopped some of the team hopping stopped, but some people still hop from team to team for various reasons. If someone is cheating and viewing their pc's can help stop that and allowing Team Founders to see all Team Members pc's can stop it, then I'm all for it. But as I said if you have 50 pc's because you are running a computer lab or whatever and wish to keep them hidden from the general user, I'm okay with that too. |
