boinictray.exe stays running after Boinic Manager is closed
(Message 22277)
Posted 3 Jan 2009 by Ashton Post: That does not appear to be true ...I can start Boinctray.exe by running the exe from the Boinc directory. I have limited RAM so I like to stop all unnecessary processes when running RAM intensive programs ...like most games. I know it only uses just over 1.6MiB ...but every MiB counts. Is there some sort of reason that this behaviour is the default? ...it seems kind of... messy for a program to leave a process running when it is shut down. |
