That 2 of us are having the same challenge suggests to me a possible installer or other issue w 7.16 and/or 7.2 and/or Win 11, but that's purely a guess of course.

I keep getting errors installing 7.20.2 and can't uninstall 7.16.2. Tried restarting in uninstalling + installing 7.20.2. No luck. I also deleted the Boinc dir and tried to install, and uninstall for good measure. I also have Oracle VB installed but it's not running.n

I'm using a 11th Gen Intel i5.

The windows error (when trying to remove or install):
"Error 1719. Windows Installer service could not be accessed..."

Any suggestions?

Getting the following project status message even after multiple restarts of Boinc and computer for LCH@home 1.0 [CMS simulation 47.6 (vbox64)]: "Postponed: VM Hypervisor failed to enter an online state in a timely fashion". Project stops 9-10 minutes into each attempt.

Win10 64-bit with i5-7200u chip & 8GB RAM; Boinc 7.6.33; VirtualBox 5.0.18
In Boinc prefs, unchecked "Suspend GPU when computer is in use"

Any suggestions on how to get VirtualBox project to run?

Thanks for this question and the responses. I had the same problem on an Intel, 5.0 Lollipop (Asus Zenpad 8), and .43 did the trick for me as well. Much appreciated.

Upon trying add'l projects, I'm still not having any success other than SETI. I should clarify that I have an 64-bit Intel chip (+Android 5.0), not ARM. My bad for posting the question on an ARM thread. If there are add'l suggestions, please share.

I just got an Asus 8 Android tablet that has an Intel Atom Z3530 (64-bit) that I'm having trouble getting projects that work [error is usually: "_("This project doesn't support computers of this type")x86-android-linux-gnu" ]

I have the latest v7.4.41. Seti@home is the only one that works. Any suggestions or should I just wait for a version that will support it?
