Repeat of earlier request: I am very close to kicking BOINC off my Mac because of the annoyance of having to remove it from login items on Mac user accounts every time an update is installed. How do you not see that it is rude and intrusive to add BOINC to every user account's login items? It should be opt-in, not opt-out! |

I get very tired of having to go into account preferences and remove BOINC Manager from the list of items to automatically start at login for other Mac user accounts every time the software is updated. Can't I please just have it auto-launch on ONE account? It's my main account and is always logged in. The others come and go, and I don't want Manager to run in them! |

I'd like to see a smarter installer! I normally keep two Mac user accounts logged in at all times. I only want BOINC to run in one of them. But EVERY TIME there's an update, I have to go into Users & Groups preferences and tell it NOT to launch BOINC on the other Mac user account. Annoying and unnecessary! |
