Milkyway@home currently makes BOINC statistics ridiculous. Using optimized clients built by the community, it is possible to achieve 60,000 credits a day with a single ATI Radeon HD 4850. The fastest ATI cards reach 100,000 a day. This lets other projects become unalluring (at least for those that pay more attention to the credits than to the science). So please do anything about this problem. An idea might be to have separate statistics for CPUs and GPUs. But even then there would be a problem because Milkyway gives much more credits than e. g. GPUGRID.

2) Message boards : BOINC Manager : Will BOINC 6 ever run on Domain Controllers? (Message 21880) Posted 17 Dec 2008 by Fab36-Folding-Division Post: Hi, BOINC 5 can be installed on Windows Domain Controllers, but BOINC 6 cannot. Now that we are on version 6.4.x already, I wonder whether BOINC will ever run on Domain Controllers again. Will this be fixed anytime soon? TiKu
