I'm running XP SP3, but I'm having the same problem. It doesn't happen everyday. I 'Exit' the manager then 'Restart' it. Sometimes it takes 2-3 times to 'Exit' & 'Restart'. But I would like a fix so I don't lose cycles overnight. I'm running Boinc 6.10.18. I did not find a file 'gui_rpc_auth.cfg'.

The Boinc button frame on the left side of each tab is transparent. It shows the buttons and literals, but the background is showing whatever was the primary display before you display the Boinc window.

I get similar displays when I select the 'Options' & 'Preferences' from the Advanced drop down.

I updated to 6.2.19 after this started hoping it would fix the problem. But it didn't.

Trying to do a screen print here so I can show you the problem. I do have the screen prints in a Word document if anyone wants to see it.

Any ideas here,

Rob
