David Attenborough switched youthful ambitions for medicine to veterinary and marine conservation instead, and I can never thank him enough.Your ambitions I presume? ;-) We had a double beaching of adult humpbacks this year. A first for Aldabra. Tragically, re-floating them proved impossible and sadly, the accompanying juvenile we lost track of. :-(Sad news one hopes will not be repeated. Now gearing up for a turtle rodeo (next few days), but would like to wish everyone a happy and environmentally-friendly new year, as much as is humanly possible. We shall be sedating our German Shepherd in preparation for the event, shortly. Happy new year to you, sir. :-) |

So much for National Archives Too convenient? Thousands of government papers detailing some of the most controversial episodes in 20th-century British history have vanished after civil servants removed them from the country’s National Archives and then reported them as lost. |

Indeed a boom for your economy that goes even further than that, Sirius :-) but regretfully, I lack the time to chat further at present. How easily some are appeased by irrelevant cosmetics... ;-)Some may think that, but I'm pretty sure that the printers that win the contract won't be seeing any cosmetics but plenty of ££££££££££££££££££££££££££ :-) |

One hopes the furore of Trump's @ If he now knows it irritates you, maybe he won't use it with you again. One is always open to correction on matters of addressing fellow posters. Indeed, if there are others here who desire a less formal approach, then I will of course, for the sake of peace and harmony, oblige. :-) |

I think you will find you are incorrect, Sir. :-) :-) :-) The French - criticised by the press at the time for "assisting Argentina" with arms sales - specifically Exocets which they manufactured - provided your military with all they needed to know to sabotage the missiles. Mitterand and Thatcher were thick as proverbial thieves over the matter. They also provided the British Air Force with examples of the military jets France had previously sold to Argentina - for pilots to familiarise themselves with. There is no reason you would know any of that at the time, of course. ;-) |

Biblical texts do not support Jesus claiming to be the son of any god, to my knowledge. That he may have led his audiences into saying he was, then, with guile, failed to refute their assumptions I will not argue against. ;-) His assertion to be the son of man however, has scriptural backing. Others more learned than I in such matters, may know otherwise, of course. As to freemasonry in the UK: your link from 2015 Mr B (Anyone fancy a coffee?) has a murky backstory. :-( The reveal of what is wanted to be seen (to deflect attention from what is not, organised paedophilia rings being the worst of the worst of them) was according to sources in my former line of work, a bone thrown out to the press when certain investigative methods got too close for comfort. Some matters should not be left to "organisations" such as these to clean up the "transgressing" members they harbour - yet they are. |
