Having a problem over the past few days of finding my system reporting "system out of memory" (which it isn't when I find the message) and the BOINC Manager as well as a few other normally running applications exited. (I assume the OS may be attempting to recover itself but that's for a question for a different forum.)

Anyhow, I assume this could be project related but I thought I'd check to see if I had the latest version, which I discovered is listed as 17.14.3. This left me scratching my head as I clearly have a 17.16.3 version (including a Read Me file with that version referenced) from Sept 2019. I thought maybe I stumbled onto a beta/dev version but no such version exists on the "All Versions" page either.

I searched the forums and found nothing about this. Am I from the future? ;-) Or was this version incorrectly labelled and replaced? Is there some other place to find test versions that this may have come from? I usually find various app updates from MacUpdate and see they have it as 17.16.3 as well.

One other thing I noticed is that when I re-installed 17.14.3 (technically "newer" by time stamp), I noticed that LittleSnitch reported the applications signing had changed from something "Berkeley" (of course) to "Charles Fenton" (sic). I felt like this was a clue that 17.16.x had been signed by a new cert purposely. Not sure if that's related.

Anyhow, any insight anyone could share would put my past mind at ease. :-))

Thanks

Yosemite 10.10.3 is out of beta but 10.10.4 is not. Apple has opened beta testing to a wider audience through a public beta program and downloads via the Mac App Store.
