i make my pc work for seti and use boinc ofc.
some time ago my pc crashed and i had to install boinc again.
Now its running in deamon ? wtf is that then and i cant get rid of boinc if i turn it of it still keeps running bah realy %##$@! anoying.
does someone realy think thats a good idea?
its a realy good reason to stop with boinc and so not help seti anymore.
it slows down my pc and even when i pause boinc it keeps more then 650 mb of data in memory grr

so how to get rid of this deamon crap i just want boinc to run when i push the button?

btw i think its a realy bad thing it will scare of new users for sure people dont like programs running without having a say in it.
