Oh OK think I get it now. To do with PAE, runs under unprivileged account. Thanks. The 'Improved Windows security' section explanation of those release notes would maybe be better explanation of pae during setup when looking at enabling/disabling the option. |

Hi. I've just noticed this on my machine too but I'm running v6.2.19. Downloaded x64 version direct from here running on Vista x64. I'm getting the same as Rabinovitch but more worryingly I noticed it because I was investigating why boinc has created a user file/account called boinc_master. This was the only thread about it the search found. C:\Users\boinc_master\ I find this a bit worrying though it doesn't show up in account managing. Not sure if should find that more worrying. |
