I always get "communication deferred" status for LHC@home. I tried out SETI@home to see if it worked with that, but i get the same problem. Linux x86. I heard that boinc uses port 80, and that computer also serves as an HTTP server. Could that be the problem? If not, what is and how do I solve it? Thanks |

I installed it from a .deb package... /var contains nothing that looks boinc related and /etc/boinc-client/ only contains config files... :S |

Hi, does anyone know where boinc saves downloaded data in linux? (That 10GB which it puts aside by default) On my server, i have 5 partitions from 10 to 200GB and i think it might be saving stuff to my smallest one :s Thanks in advance |
