1) Message boards : GPUs : Recommendation for project(s) with high GPU memory usage (Message 67601) Posted 8 Feb 2016 by mlaferriere Post: Most of the ones I run, Seti@home, Milkyway@home, Einstein@home only use around 300MB of GPU memory. I know some people have set their cards up to run multiple WU's at once but my GPU runs well over 90% load with just one. I am using a 1GB Radeon 7750 as I think it is the most power efficient per teraflop that Radeon has made even to this day. Unless you want to get into the ones that draw 300watts for just the card. I was hoping to find some posts or comparisons to see what projects may make use of the 2GB.

Google has 5.0.2 available for the Nexus 7 but if I can't run Boinc there is no reason to update. In fact I am considering reflashing my Nexus 5 with KitKat to get Boinc running again. Lollipop seems to have memory issues that pop up from time to time for me.

4) Message boards : Android : BOINC client not working on Android 5.0 (Message 57857) Posted 18 Nov 2014 by mlaferriere Post: My Nexus 10 is having the same issue since upgrading to Lolipop. Boinc worked fine before the new Droid 5.0 upgrade. I have two other devices that I plan on holding off upgrading until we are able to resolve this. The Nexus 10 just happened to be the first machine to get the OTA update. Has anyone OTA updated their droid to 5.0 and still had BOINC functional afterwards? I'm wondering if it didnt change a setting behind the scenes. I am going to try uninstalling & reinstalling BOINC and see if I can notice anything amiss tonight. I have a 2012 Nexus 7 and a Nexus 5 that havent been updated yet and both run BOINC fine.
5) Message boards : BOINC client : Boinc on Lollipop (Message 57840) Posted 18 Nov 2014 by mlaferriere Post: I just got the new droid Lollipop on a machine and it doesn't seem to sit well with Boinc. It opens up and sits at the initial screen. Boinc was running just fine before Has anyone else had this issue with the Droid os I am going to try uninstalling Boinc and reinstalling. Hopefully its just a simple permission issue.
