I just installed the latest BOINC on my W7 computer. To finish installation I needed to reboot. Every time I reboot I get the error message that I need to reboot in order for BOINC to work. Anyone else having this problem? Solutions? I even tried installing BOINC under different compatibilities but nothing worked.

BOINC stops processing and gives me the message in the title of this thread. My computer isn't on battery power when this happens. Any suggestions as how to prevent this? Thanks.

I have a blank screen coming on 3 minutes after the boink screensaver. boink still runs, but can't be seen. When I try to re-acess the computer, the blank screen dissappears showing a Seti@home graphic screen that is not moving. I can't get the screen to let me in. ctr-alt-del doesn't do anything. I have to press the restart button to get into the computer.

The Manager message says "suspending network activity - user is active"
The computer was hung up, and I couldn't get in.

I don't have and answer but I have a similar problem. It looks like BOINC gives me the blue screen of death in Vista several times a day. I started a different screen saver and haven't experienced the BSOD so far and it's been about 8 hours.

When I try to install the latest version it looks for a non-existent drive and won't proceed. How do I change this? Any suggestions?
