Posted 1 Aug 2017 by Gordon Lowe Post: Try here! Well, the problem with that is it's absurdly expensive, and you have to send away for it, so obviously you couldn't eat it. My concept is a toaster at home that you could insert a photograph into, and the bread would come out toasted with the image. Edible art. |

At least it went bad in the parking lot of the library, so I had something to read while waiting for AAA, ;~). The AAA guy checked the battery and alternator, and all was good. He tapped on the starter and that got it going. He said those rarely go bad, and there's usually no warning. |

Posted 29 Mar 2017 by Gordon Lowe Post: We're going to be getting new driver's licenses in compliance with the federal government's Real ID law. I was wondering the same thing, but I guess sense prevailed. Kentucky needs to comply, as other states have done. It's optional. You don't have to get it, but it will be necessary for air travel unless you want to carry your birth certificate around with you. |

Basically, when going in to get a new licence, you bring your birth certificate and Social Security card, and they'll scan in the documents, and issue you a new driver's license that will be necessary for boarding a plane or visiting a military base. https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/kentucky/articles/2017-03-22/bevin-signs-law-allowing-optional-drivers-licenses |

It's a dark, surreal film, with a Twilight Zone-ish theme about a man who is given the opportunity to change his life into someone else. The basic premise has been done different ways over the years. "Meet Joe Black" comes to mind. Has anybody seen "Seconds"? What did you think about it? |
