Haven't had a worse day at work this lifetime.

I'm sorry to hear that. One of my favorite escapes is watching an old Twilight Zone.

I raised a couple of baby turtles from birth, and once they got big enough, they were chowing down on cherry tomatoes just like in your avatar picture. :~)

Have to go to work. Freezing rain has done its job. The ground is not frozen yet. So the roads are passable for now.

Be careful. Wish I could send some of my 80 degree weather your way.

Thanks. I can definitely connect with people having the same issue there, so I know it's a real problem.

Something I forgot to mention about the Yahoo situation is as a Moderator of a Yahoo Groups forum on house rabbits, I've been unable to resolve a huge issue regarding uploading pictures, and tech support is virtually non-existent or not helpful.

Well, my land line, my internet, and my tv(via DirecTv) are all provided by AT&T. I just wonder how I will access my email if Yahoo gets out of the picture.

Yahoo has been having trouble the past two days with it's email system.

The Rumor is Oath is going to kill it, Yahoo that is.

Well, my isp is bellsouth.net, aka ATT, and they use the Yahoo interface. What's going to happen to me?

14 F, here, with one inch of snow, which is enough to wreak havoc. Neighbors across the street got stuck in their driveway!

Raccoon eyes, like the eyes of many predators - ourselves included, are more in the front of their faces than to the sides.

Animals that are typically prey animals (such as rabbits) are more likely to have eyes to the sides of their head, so they can see potential predators sneaking up on them.

Good points. Looking at your friends, I can see that now. If my bunnies want to stare me down, they have to give me an askance look.

Can they catch those peanuts in the air with their hands?

No. I generally try to throw the peanuts in front of them.

How is their frontal vision? I know with rabbits, they kind of have a blind spot right in front of them, so they don't really see me if their nose is facing mine. They have great peripheral vision, though.

I just woke up from a dream I was down in South America somewhere, wandering around a really spooky old neighborhood with apartment buildings that looked like they were abandoned, but I could sense people watching me, and when I got to a street corner, Elaine(from Seinfeld) was waiting there on a bike for two, and she told me to hop on, and she rang the bell, and away we peddled.

Holland today

When I worked in a photography store at a mall, we used to have to hide our cans of compressed air because some kids wanted to buy it for huffing.
