It never occurred to me that I could turn my landline number into a cell phone. If I could do that at my current land line rate of $20 a month for unlimited calling, and no cost for the actual cell phone itself, it would be worth a thought, but I really like my home's telephone handset, and have never liked the feel or sound of cell phones.

Some days go by and the phone doesn't ring at all. In any event, my cell is strictly an emergency item. I use my land line for regular day to day phone conversations. I'm a nostalgic old curmudgeon, anyway; I like keeping the land line since it's been the same number at the same house for over 50 years.

I think it depends a lot on what the food is that the spice is on and the temperature the dish is served. Watery, oily, absorbing, etc. It may also depend on the kind of pepper. Well, I like spicy, too, but I also like to taste the ingredients. I was breaking a little sweat on level number 1, and that was just enough kick for me.
