1) Message boards : GPUs : Cuda initialisation failed after replacing nVidia card (Message 54219) Posted 21 May 2014 by TatoMCSE Post: Hi, recently I replaced Quadro FX1800 with Quadro K2000 in my desktop. However SETI@Home stopped processing WU for GPU with the message that Cuda initialisation failed. I added GPUGRID project to BOINC as a troubleshooting measure and GPUGRID is able to process WU with GPU. Is there something that needs to be "re-initialized" in order for SETI project to "see" the new GPU? I'm running latest Quadro drivers obtained from nvidia.com Thanks!
