Thanks for this tip. I had been refused work until I removed and tried to re-attch GPU Grid and a couple of new projects as tests.
Then I found I couldn't- and wondered if my kit had gone out of approval on GPU work, until I found this thread.
I see the new version of Boinc has the new crt file, so this shouldn't carry on needlessly - if people update.
Cheers.

I saw from Boinc Mgr that 120MB was available to the prog.
Anyhow, it seems not to a subject for the Boinc forum -as that is meant to cover less project orientated posts.
I have seen a few here and there, though.
I rechecked and new sensors are not going out.
Thanks for your inputs.

Yes, I learned that some laptops are fitted with inbuilt accelerometers.
All the same you'd think some smart people could kinda make it more clear -
especially as the [wrong] memory error message is wasted.

I've been trying to run Quake work alongside other projects.
It loads and slowly progresses but no time done shows,as yet. I had to abort some earlier work for same reason- hitting deadline.
The screensaver is working ok :) but on it no work complete time to match what is in manager 0.234 %
System is XP with nVidia GPU working fine.
Boinc 7.8.2 X86
LOG below -covering some Quake activity.
I have plenty of disc space available, btw.Showing 120MB available to Boinc.
[392MB in use by Boinc]
PS:
I wasn't sure if I needed a sensor or whether this would just be processing work.
In any case on checking none were available.
I assume if work downloads it can run.

5) Message boards : GPUs : Work failing on GTX 6xx 'Kepler' GPUs.

Thanks for clarifying, Richard.
The problem has disappeared for now, but was quite repetitive for
a few days.
I've noticed before that uploads & work getting comp. errors sometimes run oddly but, once they resolve, easily get forgotten.
It's a lot of work chasing faults up- as you know on here.
This was on both SETI and MilkyWay work at the same time,[GPU only]- so I thought it may be a config issue and tried your tip.
It's not affected work when being left in, anyway.
I've been doing F@H for Stanford for about 5 years and now doing some for others, as a change.
Feel free to close thread now, as suggested.

I'm running GTX460 and been getting intermittent comp errors on GPU work.
OK at the moment though.
I'm using 301.42 driver, though not the latest,as problems occur when I update driver to newer. The constant reminders about this are a bit irritating, tbh.
I see the fix for later drivers and applied it to see if it affected performance.
Will this Env.Var. fix be counterproductive- if I leave it in place on this earlier card version?

What good news. 7 meds in one go is amazing.
Is this typical for Boinc results?
I hope you keep updating progress on this as the final results are all important.
