Is it possible to use .jar programs as the target for single submit jobs? The only way I have got it to work for Windows clients is to use Jsmooth to wrap the jar in a windows executable and then distribute that. This is ok, but how would I do the same thing for Linux clients? Jsmooth doesn't wrap jars in linux executables. |

Hi all, I'm been banging my head for hours trying to get single-submission to work for the x86-64 linux platform. I've followed the instructions here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/SingleJob very closely but with no luck. I have gotten it to work with the windows x86-64 platform however. To be more specific when I run this command: boinc-master/tools/boinc_submit --platform x86_64-pc-linux-gnu appname It just repeatedly says Instance 0: unsent. I have a linux machine (running the boinc image) with the client set up and attached to the project. It even pulls the sample project workunits. But it never pulls the single submit jobs. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance. |
