2) Message boards : News : BOINC 7.2.28 released to the public (Message 51268) Posted 11 Nov 2013 by frances Post: ISSUE with new BOINC 7.2.28: With BOINC 7.2.28 my GPU have high usage and too high temperature (achieves more 75 degree Celsius). I decided uninstall 7.2.28 and continue using the BOINC 7.0.64. This 7.0.64 version manages the GPU load in effective way, and I have no problems with high temperature. For Boinc 7.2.28 and the old BOINC 7.0.64 I have set the options with the same parameters. I'm using a GeoForce GTX 660 in a Windows 8 with Core I7. Appreciate any comment of this problem preventing of use the new version.
