The spelling is Boinc's not mine. Once this error occours it repeats faster than I can keep with it, resulting with me having to use task manager to abort BOINC as the program will not respond. I have updated to .13 from .8 The problem occours with both versions. I seem to be getting work and returning results but I have to step in quite often to get things back going correctly

Going to projects, attach to projects: After entering the SETI URL and the next dialog/question box comes, just press enter without entering any data. When I did this my system came up and connected to "local host" Let me know if this works or not Jim

3) Message boards : BOINC Manager : can't attach to project (Message 1107) Posted 25 Nov 2005 by Jim Davis Post: What I tried that worked was to use the select computer option under file. I left everything blank and the system allowed me to communicate. After that the system allowed me to attach to a project (SETIATHOME) Good luck!
