Hi,

I couldn't find a "new features request" or "feedback" link, but I have a configuration related suggestion.

It would be useful to be able to set "Use at most <###.##> % GPU time" separately from "Use at most <###.##> % CPU time".

My GPU is newer and runs cooler than my CPU. Some projects rely almost entirely on the GPU. It is spring here in Argentina and hot days are coming soon.

Best regards,
Nicola Bernardelli

Going to see if it can be done with TThrottle http://efmer.eu/boinc/
which I just found mentioned here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Community_Grid

_Maybe_ I found a workaround with 6.12.34 (which didn't work with 7+):

Right button click on the Boinc Manager icon, properties, compatibility tab, I cheked "run as administrator".

If this proves to be unstable in the next days, I'll try setting compatibility to other Windows versions.

(I had previously set Boinc and Boincmgr as trusted applications in the Comodo firewall, but the problem persisted. I haven't tested undoing that so far, probably nothing would change since Boinc Manager is now launched with admin priviledges.)

Same problem here, same OS (COMODO firewall and antivirus).

So I tried installing and old version, boinc_6.12.34_windows_x86_64, but it's more or less the same (sorry that I don't have a more precise testing to share):

everything ok upon installation, but if I exit the manager also stopping BOINC then when I launch it again the manager only sees two of 5 projects and no tasks (they had been recently downloaded and were there when I stopped it).
