Currently trying to run an Einstein WU on my Samsung Galaxy Ace phone.

This phone has very limited internal memory, which seems to be causing problems.

Other apps can and do store/run from the SD card which has plenty memory free.

If BOINC can be made to store/run from the SD card and not the internal memory it would be a lot better.

I will probably try to complete this current WU but will have to uninstall BOINC after due to the memory requirement to run any project.

I have the same problem with my HTC One M7,just not enough internal memory.Hey you guys who develop BOINC Android please should you know how precious is the internal memory!? Why not just let boinc take advantage of the sdcard!
Though i have installed BOINC android on my SDCard, yet it cannot use my 2GB+ sdcard freespace.
now Boinc just says "nothing to do..."
I've tried NativeBoinc, it worked ,but not so stable and caused my phone restart from time to time, which force me to uninstalled it.

Thank you very much for your generous fingerwork :) <-- this is real sincere smile.

I know users who have done exactly that... all projects in their list. They say it works very well (not perfect) if you configure certain options wisely.

TO be wise requires a mind space with less entropy, lol.
One case is that if volunteers mistakingly think that a long-time-100% processor and processing time occupation of their CPU may do harm to their computor or increase chances of the OS deadlock, they may possibly consider reduce the percentage of relevant parameters, such psychologically occurs frequently ,especially among beginners, and may possibly fail the scheduler. Even i've noticed if i would set 100% percentage of the processor occupation, some slight pauses between operations in BOINC and other application may be felt frequently,i don't know why or do others experienced this as well.

I think a wizard or one-click Smart Configurer may help some volunteers to set those parameters WISELY,and tell them it's the best settings so far, even though may be totally psychological. LOL. I know BOINC is not designed for volunteers to entertain themselves, but a banlanced mutual benefit may help BOINC grow bigger and better, like what those screensavers do.I am always wondering why project designers won't make more screensavers and make'em better and more spetacular as to attract more people to contribute... as well as, to amuse themselves meanwhile.Sci-tech research may also require a psychological co-solution,doesn't it?

BOINC Version:7.028(x86)
I am not asking to cycle tasks, but to cylce projects.

I've noticed that there seems to be a queuing mechanism for Tasks as i've seen some tasks may wait to be exectuted, but there seems to be no such a mechanism for Projects.
If a user added all BOINC projects to his or her project list(may becos he or she wants all projects to equally share the computing power of his/her computor, like i am,or just for fun ),what would happen?
Would all these projects have to compete randomly for computing power? thus some of them may possibly fail to complete their tasks by the deadline.
So far i don't know if BOINC Manager already has a certain mechanism to negotiate among projects(if they are too many) as to ensure all running projects can have adequate computing time to finish their tasks before deadline(supposed that those task results not submitted in time would be abandoned somehow?).

A Project Cycling Mechanism may allow the BOINC Manager to queue all projects up and make specified numbers of projects in queued order to run concurrently so that each project may have a relatively relaxed period to carry out its work(with less computing power competitive stress). Now BOINC seems to just share the computing capacity of the CPU equally among projects, but if there were too many projects running, the shared percentage of each project may be very low.
e.g. on my computor,i have added 7 projects, each of them only shares 14.29% computing capacity of the CPU. I think some of them may fail to submit in time, cos the deadline was assigned by the project designer and is not predicatable.

I had thought about two mechanisms to solve this problem:
1)BOINC Manager calculates the remaining Lifetime for a project's current task and allocate a proper priority for it,when remaining Lifetime gets tight, the manager may hang up execution of less urgent tasks to guarantee execution of those urgent tasks.(of course the number of concurrent projects will also be limited)
2)Introduce a project queuing and cycling mechnism, ensure only a limited number of projects can use the CPU,and also allow all projects be run in order so that their task packages have an equal possibility to be executed. This solution may also favour Pan-Projects lovers like me,as i can then add all projects and don't leave any in cold, but just to set a upper-limit for concurrent projects, and even possibly the project priority, task cycles per project period and conditions for automatical promotion of priority, etc.

PROBLEM: I am really a big fan of all projects of BOINC,so i would like to add all projects to my list of BOINC Manager. However, there's a big problem: the deadline for many tasks are so tight that:
1) tasks are downloaded but may be postponed to the deadline due to the tight processing power,
2) each task may be inadequately run and not finish in time while already-spent computing power and time is wasted.

WISH: So i'd like to see a project cycling mechanism in BOINC(i don't know if there's already one in it) which could cycle all projects in my BOINC Manager list (better user configurable)as for all projects to share possibility to be run in a reasonable period(may be a week or several days,or one or more task cycle.)
