1) Message boards : BOINC Manager : Unable to connect to core client (Message 15738) Posted 10 Mar 2008 by Jere Post: Hi, I'm a first time user and keep getting the message (in simple view) that boinc is “Unable to contact core client”. I’ve tried versions 5.10.30 and 5.8.16 and both give this error. (I’m running winXP with a AMD Athlon dual core) Anybody able to help? Thanks.
