Manager 7 + Ubuntu 12.04 = no advanced mode?

Posted 24 Aug 2012 by donjoe Post: Yeah, that's what it looks like for me too. Plus the project option to stop accepting work items doesn't do anything - BOINC keeps accepting new work items (though the menu does change to show the opposite option "allow new work items" or whatever it's called). Plus if I try to quit the BOINC Manager it just doesn't want to die, I have to kill it with fire. And then I have to kill the worker threads with sudo killall -u boinc. Frankly, I'd rather boot Windows to run BOINC if this is how it's going to treat me on Linux. |
