BOINC is using about 25GB of disc space. It has available 100s more. How do I expand it, or can I? What is the limiting factor, processor, video card, memory, disc ? |

I also have the pop up saying another version of BOINC is already running. How do I stop this? BOINC needs to issue an update to correct this! It's their mistake! |

ClimatePrediction.net and GPUGRID have sent no work units for months, will delete BOINC soon. |

Can not get a response from them by either email or forum(s). My projects always have the remaining times increasing, not decreasing? They are crowding out my other projects. I need an answer or I'm deleting them from my Tasks. |

I'm still running 7.2.47, don't remember being notified that an update was available. Can I download from the BOINC main page website and not lose my projects? And, what's the difference between boinc_7.8.2_windows_intelx86.exe and boinc_7.8.2_windows_x86_64.exe |

I'll be wiping my disc and installing a new BIOS; will have to re-install all of my previous programs. How do I re-install Boinc and its associated tasks, Seti, Cosmology, etc., without losing my progress/settings? |

I'm running seti and einstein projects. Added climateprediction.net today. Tried to add Cosmology, but it then said an account with that email address already exists and uses a different password ... ? |

Finally got around to looking up the info. To restate, graphics and screensaver suddenly stopped working with no changes; might have been when I updated the software recently. Vostro 230 Windows 7 32 bit Intel(R) Core(TM)2Duo CPU E7500@2.93GHz Graphics: G41 Express Chipset |

Had projects run while computer in use. Clicked on show graphics, screen flickered but no graphics screen. Video card going bad ? |

Recently my Boinc screensaver says screensaver loading, but nothing happens. It then times out. I have changed any settings. I have the Boinc to come on after two minutes, run for two minutes, and project screesavers run for ten minutes. All I have is the Boinc trying to load the screensaver notice. Paul Luman |
