Ok just found a wrinkle in this system. LOL

Open Malaria has two apps:

openMalariaA
openMalariaB

So How do I tell BOINC I only want 1 OM running at any time?
Not 1 from A and 1 from B LOL

BTW while running 10 GPU projects was fun went back to one for now the end times were to long.

Thanks soooo much for this thread!

I am now running 10 gpu tasks and four regular tasks.:)
And I thought I would see a time increase in the gpu jobs but not so far.

this is what I used:

<app_config>
<app>
<name>astropulse_v6</name>
<max_concurrent>2</max_concurrent>
<gpu_versions>
<gpu_usage>.1</gpu_usage>
<cpu_usage>.05</cpu_usage>
</gpu_versions>
</app>
</app_config>


The .05 gives enough room to still run the 4 cpu jobs for me. but might make that lower seeing as the computer is lagging bad. lol

Hi love your program but the usb creator just sits there saying starting after you put in all the info and the os will not update. don't care about the second a little help on the first pretty pls:)

ok checked all the tcp ports were open they are.

made sure clinet was running

and confirmed by connecting with one of my projects without using bam aznd that worked so going to leave it at that.

I am on a cloud server and that above Ubuntu and 12 were about the only choices.

I downloaded everything and got it running in tight vnc and synced up with bam. Then I got this error message.

Error Bad signature for URL://www.malariacontrol.net

Got the same one for all the others and got the same message when I was running Ubuntu 12 64 bit

any help would be great:)
