(Message 44059) Posted 8 May 2012 by Paul Post: We are only 100 years into radio communication ourselves, so even a moderately advanced civilization would be using advanced data compression and spread spectrum teqniques. Spread spectrum can be hard to detect since the power is spread out, so is Boinc only looking for a narrow band power spike ?? Thanks for any info Paul
