Interesting to see how the software really works, and also equally nice that you dropped a featreq at the developers. I'll continue to monitor the progress and will keep using the alphas which have been trouble free in about 90% of the builds :)

Boinc - Tools - Computing Pref - Exclusive Applications. You can only link to REAL executable files. It would be very handy to also be able to link to shortcuts, as long as the Target (the location of the exe it points at) remains the same. Your opinion?

3) Message boards : BOINC Manager : Feature Request - Exclusive apps but shortcuts (Message 42546) Posted 12 Feb 2012 by Jejking Post: I think many people don't have all their exe's nearby, I've always been very pleased with BOINC and even alpha builds but this should be a must. F.e., all your programs are located in one folder. It would be so much easier to be able to link to the shortcuts instead of looking up all executables themselves! Your opinion?
