BOINC Indicator for (Ubuntu) Linux?
(Message 99645)
Posted 6 Jul 2020 by Mr. Thistle Post: Nope. Seems that the tray indicator is not available. 1- This is about Linux (specifically, GNOME based distro) 2- I am not looking for text-based UI or "top-like" app, but GNOME app tray indicator. |

BOINC Indicator for (Ubuntu) Linux?
(Message 98572)
Posted 17 May 2020 by Mr. Thistle Post: Hi there, is there any idea or project for creating the app indicator for e.g. Ubuntu Linux? I think it could be nice to have an option to - see the calculation status (running / paused / stalled) - be able to manually switch those states - be able to launch BOINC Manager from the indicator - see other stuff like projects / tasks (amount? details?) / etc. - or even affect stuff :) I guess it would be interesting for all distros using GNOME Shell. |
