Thanks for the link to the FAQ. The WICUU from this link http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall worked great the other link under step 2 that went to a site other than Microsoft I did not try but I looked at it and to tell you the truth I did not trust the site

I tried to install the newest version on BOINC 7.0.64 for Windows 7 and keep getting the following ERROR:

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable."

"Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package "BOINC.msi" in the box below." and this is in the box below

C:\Windows\Downloaded Installations\{462FAC8D-A1E5-4078-B45C-38CB50C177DB}\

I now unable to run any of my BOINC project. Any suggestions as to how to correct this problem?

I can not get Boinc 7.0.26 to install I keep getting the following error:

Click OK to ty again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'BOINC.msi' in the box below."

In the USe Source box is C:\WIndows\Downloaded Installations\{7B0EB643-3966-4474-B417-F82930F9DFC8}\

When I click Cancle I get "Error 1706.No valid source could be found for the product BOINC. The Windows installer cannot continue."

I tried uninstalling BOINC but it will not unistall because it is also missing a msi file.

ANy suggestions?

I have a completed work unit for World Community Grid that due to an internet failure is way past it's completion deadline ands will not upload nor am I able to delete it and it is messing with my upload & download speed since it is in a constant state of uploading. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of it?

Is there a way to opt out from getting notices. The constant pop up that tells me there is a new message is annoying. I have better things to do while I am at my computer then checking every notice someone thinks is important
