I'm also curious what the virtual box is suppose to do. Mine installed alright but I don't think my pc is making use of it. For the record I'm using it on a small HP desktop with an intel core duo, windows 7 and 3gig of ram. Projects: World community grid, poem@home, rosetta@home and docking@home running 24x7 |

Ok, thanks for your responses. I'll keep my laptop running on its current settings and hopefully some good comes out of it! |

Hello, I've been using boinc for about awhile now to run the World Community Grid and Rosetta@home programs. I know all the research being done is important but I have a particular interest in wanting to help people sufffering from Parkinson's. Would anyone know which distributed program I should be looking at for that would be best for this particular disease? The only one I've seen it mentioned on is folding@home but it doesn't seem to be part of the boinc options. Thanks. |
