Client status not initialized

Posted 10 Mar 2017 by Chris Post: Hello, i run 7.4.53 on a LG H818 Android 6.0 First day everything went fine. Second day: i can't see running tasks in the app. Client works fine, workunits will be worked out. But i can't see anything in the manager.

On my quad-core 3 cores work continue at project 1 and 1 core at project 2. Now all cores work at project 1 ( for 4 days now ) and project 2 units are waiting ( for 4 days now ) |

I run project 1 with 100% and project 2 with 300% ( quad-core ) but only project 2 is running tasks since 3 days now.... project 1 is waiting all the time. How can i get Boinc to run a project on 3 cores and other project on 1 core continues. |

Installed Boinc with the installer, made no changes... Which firewalls do we have to compete with on both systems? Windows Firewall Are directories shared between the two systems? no, i use Teamfiewer to control second machine, so i can transfer files via Teamviewer. Did you set up (simple) printer & file sharing on both systems? yes i think, its standard set up from Windows ( remember, connection from second machine to first machine works fine... no problem.) Does BOINC on the machine you want to access, show anything in the logging. no And is you IP address static or dynamic. It comes from router via DHCP, but because both machines are alway running it changes never. |

Posted 15 Jul 2011 by Chris Post: Hello, i have a problem with Boinc remote. First machine with Win 7 and Boinc 6.12.33 second machine Win XP x64 also Boinc 6.12.33 Its no problem to connect from second machine to first machine... works perfect. But other way i'm not able to get a connection.... status line switches between connect to PC2.... disconnected... connect to PC2... disconnected. In Win 7 i allow Boinc.exe and Boincmgr.exe incomming and outgoing traffic... On second machine i type devicename and local IP address in the remote_hosts.cfg I have no idea whats the problem can be... Pleas help ! :) |
