Posted 8 May 2020 by BufordTJustice Post: Thanks for your reply, Dave. Okay, then in my humble opinion it's BOINC that isn't informative, in my case to the point that I don't know exactly what I'm contributing to nor feel like I'm helping. Here's my screen cap posting attempt: |

Posted 8 May 2020 by BufordTJustice Post: I'm considering redirecting my computer's resources to BOINC/Rosetta (I don't understand the difference, between BOINC & Rosetta, but that's another matter), but *if* I've installed it correctly and gotten it running correctly, I've found B/R to be lacking. Specifically, B/R isn't informative at all about what specifically it's working on, how I adjust it to work on exactly what I want to contribute to, etc. I could use either some handholding, or to be told that B/R isn't nearly as informative/directable as Folding. Thank you. P.S. - as an aside ONLY, the way I understand it, B/R creates the foundational work which Folding then expands upon. P.P.S. - I can't figure out how to post a screen cap image of Folding's status screen, for those not familiar with it. |
