Then, I create this topic to ask about benchmarks tests. After STEAM notice saying this year will launch this program for linux (good videogames for linux :D) I'm considering migrate to linux this holidays. Then, a question appears in my mind: I would be OK to comparate how faster is windows or linux doing our crunchings data. So, I want to do a review testing 2 diferents PC in 3 modes everyone: Used OS Software, Clean-Installation OS Software. Also, I want to test if drivers of gpu affect in time crunching data. So, There is any specific "benchmark BOINC test" or software which test CPU (and memory) and GPU crunching power? for linux and windows? Thanks. Best Regards!

I have Boinc 6.12.26 on Win7/32 and my hardware is Intel C2D E6600, 4Gb RAM, 1st GPU: nvidia GTX460 1Gb and 2nd GPU: nvidia 8800GTX 768Mb. And my problem is that gpus are not crunching at 100% load. First gpu is for GPUGRID wich take more than 4 hours to end, in that time, I stop new tasks from GPUGRID and accept new tasks from other projects. Boinc Manager download new tasks from SETI for my 2nd gpu and other tasks from projects like spinhenge or aqua for my cpu. CPU load is 100%, but gpu's load is about 70%. ¿Is there any way to solve it? Thanks! Grill

6) Message boards : Questions and problems : Apps still running when Boinc is closed (Message 38039) Posted 29 May 2011 by Grill Post: Hi! I have Boinc 6.12.26 on Win7 32bit. My problem is that I close Boinc Manager ("exit button") but Applications still running on taskmanager and also CPU&GPU load remain on 100%. For close Boinc I must check "sleep button on boinc" and close Boinc Manager. ¿Any idea?

7) Message boards : GPUs : Select a different project for each GPU (Message 37604) Posted 26 Apr 2011 by Grill Post: Excellent! ¿Have you got any idea how much time will pass to get this update? I have 2 GPUs (GTX460 & 8800GTX). First, I had only GTX460 and GPUGRID sent me work and GTX460 did fine. But now, I have both and GPUGRID don't send me work and also, sometimes appeared a meesage in log. Something like "not compatible with this CUDA 2.2" GTX460 worked well. But is 8800GTX that have no CUDA (I think). So, ¿Won't Boinc sent all of GPUGRID work to the GTX460? I don't understand why they don't send me any work... and the servers are all up.
