i don't think there is ive also had problems with ClimatePrediction sending multiple wu's had cache settings to 1-3 days so should only have 1 wu instead i get 3 wu's for a total cpu time of 9+ days and no work units from other projects as my cache had been used up so ive just stopped accepting work from them

that would be 8/2 = 4 and i had it set to connect 1 buffer 3 = 4

anyway to disable is as its showing up on one of my wu's which seem to have made it work on the wu with the longest deadline and its been working on it for 30mins and 50% complete not exactly going to miss a 8 day deadline
