This is a known issue with WCG which is being worked on, see WCG recent threads for more.

Short term suggest select stuck transfers from BOINC transfers tab and click on retry.
May take a few goes to get all files down.

Medium term can use wcgresults -x option from:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/wcgtools/files/

31) Message boards : BOINC Manager : Suspend tasks after checkpoint (Message 104819)

Post:
BOINCTasks from efmer can suspend at checkpoint, it waits about a minute after checkpoint before suspending.
I suspend other long checkpoint tasks but allow short checkpoint ones to run.

Looks like a BOINCTasks rule that snoozes the PC could achieve that.

33) Message boards : Questions and problems : idle core with 7.16.6 on Linux - how to debug (Message 104282)
Posted 2 May 2021 by PMH_UK
Post:
Lenovo E50-00 recently installed Ubuntu 20.04 with BOINC 7.16.6 worked OK for a while on WCG and Rosetta, using app_config to limit Rosetta and WCG MIP to 1 core max.
Tried WCG OPNG but mostly invalids, few valid, app_config set to .4 GPU and .1 CPU for OPNG so 2 run.
Turned GPU option off, re-booted and re-tried a few times.
2 OPNG run OK, taking some CPU from 4 CPU tasks.
This weekend noticed only 3 cores running, re-booted and ran 4.
Ran OK for a while, re-tried OPNG, bad, turn off, now only 3 cores running with no OPNG.

What flags should I turn on to debug this?

Post:
You could try limiting to 1 core or 25% of CPUs to keep temperatures under control rather than running all cores 25% of the time.

35) Message boards : Questions and problems : High Priority = Wrong Priority (Message 36200)

Post:

I usually run with half a day of cache. DDDT tasks come in spurts with long periods of none being available. So when they are available I grab as many as I can.

I am also experiencing this with lots of DDDT in cache.
Suspending some of the later tasks allowed normal running but resuming set high-priority again and task switched to much laster tasks.
These tasks have 7 to 9 days to go and total estimated to run is under 5 days (222 hours dual-core).

This behaviour does appear wrong, more so choosing much later tasks to run.
Will try with debug.

Win XP home, WCG BOINC 6.10.58, Intel dual-core, 2GB.

Paul.
