1) Message boards : Server programs : boinc wrapper app grief Message 19679 Posted 22 Aug 2008 by clusty	I am having some trouble with my new wrapped up boinc application. I create the WU and after a bit of crunching on the client side it stops giving Computation error. On the admin page of the server the status of the WU is: outcome: Client error [3] (Compute error) Any clues what might cause this or what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance for the help.
2) Message boards : API : Can't compile the samples under Visual studio 2005 Message 15019 Posted 18 Jan 2008 by clusty	Thanks a lot. works like charmed. Another quick question: I gotta compile the client as well under windows and again using the boinc.sln file everything works almost right :D Its complaining about not finding wxwidget include files for the manager. Which version do I have to get and how do I specify the environment variable WXWIN (saw in the project is listed as additional include dependency).

I am opening the samples.sln and doing a full solution rebuild. While building the libboincapi, it chokes saying that can't find boinc_exit and a few other things. I am curios if anything has changed in the svn as last week I built it just fine. Sorry for the dump questions, but I am more of a gcc person :D
4) Message boards : Server programs : PROBLEM VIEWING THE PROJECT'S WEB PAGE!!! PLEASE HELP Message 14935 Posted 16 Jan 2008 by clusty	Hi, I am trying to create a Boinc project. I am using the ubuntu Virtual machine provided by berkeley to run the server and the client. I follow the following steps: 1. cd tools 2. ./make_project --test_app myproject 3.cat /home/boincadm/projects/myproject/html/myproject.httpd.conf >> /etc/apache2/httpd.conf 4.apache2ctl restart 5. Finally i edit the project.inc file and set $master_url = "http://ubuntu.localdomai/myproject" and URL_BASE = "http://ubuntu.localdomain/myproject/" Then I dont restart apache but i open a browser and try to access http://ubuntu.localdomain/myproject But i cannot access it!! Please help dont know what to do Try accessing it my IP adress just to make sure is no mispelled or DNS issues
5) Message boards : Server programs : Workunit finishes but never uploads Message 14934 Posted 16 Jan 2008 by clusty	Hey, Trying to get my first project running. All my workunits reach 100% on the client side but they don't get reported to the server. Even upper_case exhibits this behaviour. Any idea why this might occur?
