Posted 10 Aug 2016 by Theramansi Post: I run many projects, so I primary use BOINCstats to set preferences. After further testing, It appears that BOINC manager is ignoring the BOINCstats' time stamp and falling back to the last project's preferences that has been changed. |

Every time that my BOINC manager communicates with Rosetta, the site's preferences is setting "Suspend GPU computing when computer is in use" and altering "Suspend when non-BOINC CPU usage is above". I guess there are options that need to be added to Rosetta's computing preferences page. Having a project set preferences it doesn't have listed is annoying. |

Posted 26 Feb 2016 by Theramansi Post: I can easily work around this, but I thought I should give a heads up on an issue. I have BoincTasks, Boincview, and UVNC installed. And I can cancel a task using BoincTasks, so I'm thinking it is a Boinc Manager issue. |

Posted 26 Feb 2016 by Theramansi Post: I'm on a LAN. I'm accessing the Linux Mint computer from a Windows 7 PC. It's the tasks on the Linux I can't suspend or abort remotely. Project functions work, just not individual tasks. All files in the boinc-client folder have full perms set. |

Posted 1 Jun 2011 by Theramansi Post: Notices tab is cool, but I hate not having the messages tab. I'll stick with 6.10.xx layout for as long as possible. Other stuff has been moved around as well. I kept starting CPU benchmarks when trying to connect to another PC. :p |

Suspend when active

Posted 3 Oct 2010 by Theramansi Post: I keep having the setting of 'suspend when active' from different projects conflicting with the others. Some preferences ask "Suspend work while computer is in use?" and others "Do work while computer is in use?". Could this be an issue of bullet selection coding not being compatible among projects? |
