Surprised that in 7 days, no GPU tasks downloaded in Linux.
I suspect, not the right driver.

Just looked at your results on asteroids@home which confirms that your tasks are completing and being validated fine. Have you checked the asteroids message boards in case it is something to do with their server at the moment? If not, I am running out of ideas.

Which projects and how long are they running full time? Most importantly have you completed and reported any tasks since rejoining the projects? Just wanting to rule out the obvious issue of not completed tasks in the time.

In a VM with latest daily build of Ubuntu24.04 building client and manger from source this director is not created and from the applications menu the icon for the manager does not appear. I had to do some messing around with permissions and install from the repository and then run

sudo make install
again to be able to run the master. The master still installs fine on older versions so I will monitor and try again in a week or two to see if anything has changed. (I might try installing something else from source to see if it is a more general problem.)

I have yet to use Win11 in any form. I notice that the screensaver comes on automagically in tiny10 the cut down version of Win10 I use in a VM to run CPDN work for Windows. Might it be worth asking in some of the Windows fora?

That machine is certainly more than capable of running VB tasks. Amateur radio isn't going to be that demanding on the machine. I would check whether the projects you intend to run have VB tasks. If they do install the version with Virtual Box otherwise leave it out.

For LHC VBox tasks to work, I also had to change something in the bios. I can't remember exactly what off hand. It was in addition to allowing virtualisation.

Works if you are still running any LTS of Ubuntu versions 20 or less.
I would have thought if everyone had this problem with versions 21.x and above of Ubuntu, we would have heard a lot more about it here.

I notice that clicking on the link, Firefox objects because the file is downloaded via http rather than https. Not an insurmountable issue and I would be prepared to accept the security risk.

As well as adding myself to the boinc group I always give myself read and write permissions to /var/lib'boinc-client. There are several threads on these forums about this issue but I don't have a machine free to test which one works on a default installation at the moment having stopped using the repositories and building the client and manager from source.

I expected the no tasks as this was on a Linux host and there is currently no work for Linux though that might change soon. I could try enabling some event log options to try and identify which of the servers involved isn't playing but as it can tell me Project has no tasks available, clearly that server is working.

I ran a couple from there yesterday. They were uploading a 2.5 MB file about every 5 minutes. If your bored band was taking 18 minutes, that'll be a big backlog.
Times between production of the trickle ups was 18 minutes.

Grumble: Lost a testing branch task when power went out last night. On resumption it was cycling between 50.375 up to 50.600% at which point it would drop back to 50.375%. Crashed on stopping BOINC and restarting. Times of trickle up files at 18 minute intervals suggest it was the power outage to blame as under fifteen minutes between last trickle and the time local Faceache suggests power went down.

Did you make a typo or does it really say "https://climatepreiction.net"? If it does, maybe you should prod someone incase they don't know.
Typo Machine in question is a minimal installation without a web browser so couldn't copy and paste easily.

http://climateprediction.net is not allowing new computers to sign up currently and front page is down. Fora, work fetch and reporting of tasks are working normally though only the Windows platform currently has work.
Some progress. New host signed up but getting
