1) Message boards : Projects : 1st Annual BOINC Decathlon to be held Fall of 2010 (Message 33094) Posted 28 May 2010 by Jedidiah Smith Post: This is a public announcement of the 1st Annual BOINC Decathlon, hosted by SETI.USA. Following the highly successful and intense 1st Annual BOINC Pentathlon, hosted by SETI.Germany, our team extends its thanks to all participants and greetings from the United States of America. SETI.USA would like to take this opportunity to announce The 1st Annual BOINC Decathlon as a Winter Games event, opposite in the calender year to the S.G. BOINC Pentathlon. We are currently in the process of working out the details and possible projects to be included. The scoring will be much like a traditional Decathlon event. There will be many opportunities for winners, and all teams, large and small, will be competitive in this exciting event. The Decathlon will be held in the fall of 2010, and will be timed to not interfere with PG and other challenges slated for that time.
