1) Message boards : BOINC client : BOINC doesn't stop when running on battery (OS X) (Message 13533) Posted 4 Nov 2007 by SisterOfEvil Post: I have the same problem with a iMac (Tiger 10.4.10) and Version 5.10.20 of BOINC. It's supposed to stop running when someone uses the Mac but it's just running on and on. It's only currently running WorldCommunityGrid (since I haven't tried SETI after it always lost all its work). I checked my preferences and made sure it's set on "run based on preferences".
