Building 5.10.x Core Client on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard
(Message 14783)
Posted 9 Jan 2008 by halimedia Post: Thanks! In the meantime, I realized that building from within Xcode works flawlessly, even for the 5.10.32-release. Maybe this should be noted here? |

Building 5.10.x Core Client on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard
(Message 14757)
Posted 8 Jan 2008 by halimedia Post: Hello all! I've tried building core clients on Mac OS X 10.5.1 Leopard. While the current trunk code (6.1.5) builds fine, I don't get anywhere using the 5.10.32 tagged release. All I get is this: source BuildMacBOINC.sh -client Deployment (release) build Clean each target before building ERROR: Building BOINC requires System 10.4 or later. For details, see build instructions at boinc/mac_build/HowToBuildBOINC_XCode.rtf or http://boinc.berkeley.edu/mac_build.html I _have_ 10.4 or later - probably too much later ;) Any ideas how to proceed from here? TIA for any pointers! Edit: I should note that I'm building from the command line, not using Xcode. Also, I noticed that the URL in the presented message is out of date. |

Checking-out Source of Stable Releases
(Message 14737)
Posted 8 Jan 2008 by halimedia Post: Hi all! I've checked out the 5.10-branch and built a mac core client. All worked OK, but it build the latest version (5.10.33), which was considered unstable at the time. My questions are: - Can I build a stable release client (e.g. 5.10.32) from the checked-out 5.10-branch? - If so, what flags do I use to build the desired version? - If not, how do I check-out (or download) the source code of the most current stable release? TIA for your help! |

Feature Request: Sortable Results List
(Message 12998)
Posted 11 Oct 2007 by halimedia Post: Hi all! Wouldn't it be a great feature to be able to sort a computer's results list by e.g. time reported or outcome? Would be very handy indeed, IMO. See these threads on the SETI-boards: Feature Request: Sortable Tasks Table Sortable columns in 'results for computer' page Can we make this happen? Any thoughts welcome! |
