In reply to Dave's message of 27 Apr 2025:
No idea what the cause was but this morning all my uploads had cleared and everything working bar a distinct lack of ARP tasks.
Or any other new tasks. Two going slowly estimating over 2 days to completion that may just squeeze in before the deadline on a Ryzen9. Wouldn't have stood a chance on a slow machine! I am guessing new tasks will have to wait till Monday.
The slow ones are MAM Beta. An update from the team regarding both the server problem, and the Beta testing of MAM1 can be found here, under the "Operational Status" tab:

And after releasing MAM Beta for Linux, it didn't take long for the WCG website to go down.

Maybe they won't bother to put it back up again. After all, SETI@home is dead, and will not come back again, with new work.

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT is all i'm getting when trying Seti at the moment.
Yes, the SETI@Home website is down, since many hours. Even this site was down at the same time, and for many hours, but it came back some hours ago.

It's doubtful, that The U.S will survive as a democratic state, after 4 years of Trump V2.
If the SCOTUS as it is today, in any way rules against V2, he will simply pack the court, with totally loyal judges.

And with the congress totally in his hands, he will succeed in packing the court.

Game over.

In reply to Gary Charpentier's message of 12 Feb 2025:
Put every drop in when they say
Absolutely, I have been given 2 different kind of drops, that I should use.
1 drop of each, 3 times a day for 3 weeks. But I'll get help from my local health clinic to do it for me. I hate doing that myself,
especially in newly operated eyes,

Hope it goes well (and they put the correct lens in the correct eye).

(I'll ask you how many fingers I'm pointing up in a few days time - nearest guess wins...)
Yeah, since it's some days between the left and the right eye surgery, I hope they only have the left eye lens at hand tomorrow.

In reply to Grumpy Swede's message of 12 Feb 2025:
Tomorrow I'm getting under the knife. First a cataract surgery on my left eye, and on February 25, the same on my right eye.
With some luck, I'll see the world as it is afterwards, and not as I see it now.
I have the same at some point. Father had about 10 years between the first signs and having to stop driving till after surgery settled.
Yeah, it was 6 years ago that my first signs came when my eye doctor said that it will get worse, but you can wait a bit longer.
but now it's time to do it. I stopped driving voluntarily a year ago or so, when I no longer clearly could read the road/traffic signs.
Thanks Dog, that the standard lenses that I selected, and the surgery, is covered by our general healthcare system. I only have to pay a very small sum.
the equivalent of about USD 25.
