Down again since many hours back.
Logging in is impossible:"An error occurred while attempting to login. Please try again later"

At least the BOINC part of the project is still up, although a bit hard to get any new tasks.

WCG website is totally dead here now. The site is not responding at all, and the error is "ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT"
I bet that they finally tried to restart ARP, which of course would take down the site. We've seen that before with ARP....

Edit: And now it's back again. However, it wouldn't surprise me if it goes down again, pretty soon.

This is not the right board to post issues with specific projects. As it says on the first page on this BOINC board: These messages boards are for discussion of BOINC, not projects (such as Einstein@home, World Community Grid, and so on). To discuss a project, please use its message boards.

Edit, added: That issue with broken buttons, has been reported to the WCG team many times. It happened after the migration from IBM, and they haven't fixed it yet.
There's been thousands of issues and problems after the migration, and some of them are probably forgotten. So feel free to post about it again to the WCG board,
as a reminder to the team.

Any news on the forensic analysis of this malware? Any malware reverse engineering (MRE) going on?
If this is still spreading, and not dealt with, wouldn't be time now to post a warning about this malware on the different projects forum pages?

Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams soared into space on the Starliner on June 5 and were only supposed to remain at the ISS for nine days — but issues with their ship have left their return date still up in the air, and NASA is now furiously trying to help solve the problem.

The New York Post reports Boeing-rival SpaceX could potentially end up being tapped to ultimately bring them home aboard its Crew Dragon spaceship........

The website and the BOINC part of WCG is down since about 2,5 hours. However, on their FB account they only mention that the website is down. That post was posted some 48 minutes ago:

"We are aware that the website is currently unavailable as the load balancer went down. Our tech team is currently working to resolve this issue.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Back to lots of "503 Service Unavailable" errors, and also "System Error", and from time to time "Log In" window, when already logged in, but not recognized as logged in.
Edit, added: And an extremely slow website.

If/when ARP comes back, at the same time as OPNG tasks are available, I fear that everything will come to a screeching halt.
