So lately I've noticed that if I quit BOINC and restart it that Asteriods@home, Einstein@home, and Milkyway@home wu's will say that there's been a computation error. I'm running MacOS 11.2.3 with BOINC 7.16.14.

This seems to have worked. I'll see with WUs being completed if it holds up.

So, I'm running BOINC 7.16.6 on macos Catalina (10.15.x), and it's stable and all. However, it seems the Event Log has been nerfed. It's no longer reporting when it's uploading and downloading results/tasks, when it's pausing/restarting projects/tasks, etc. I miss this, but I don't particularly want to know how many seconds it's pausing to check with particular projects (might as well tell me how many months your 4-1/2 y/o is.) :)
4) Message boards : BOINC client : BOINC 7.14.3 released for testing for Macintosh (Catalina support) (Message 96692)

So I installed BOINC 7.14.3 and it's working (ie not causing my Catalina Mac to reboot via 7.14.2), but the graphics are mostly blacked-out. I tried to include a screen-cap in a previous attempt at a post but it wouldn't take. Yeah progress!
5) Message boards : BOINC client : Any chance that BOINC will be updated to run on Mac OS X 15 Catalina (Message 96185)

Is 7.16.3 the version that's supposed to work with Catalina?

So, I don't know if this is related, but I've been using version 7.14.2 without a hitch on Catalina until yesterday (2/2520) when my computer started repeatedly rebooting due to an "error while booting." Since I had BOINC on auto-start it took me awhile to figure out that it was causing the problem.
