That question is best asked at the Seti project forum, probably in Number Crunching.

09/12/2015 23:11:41 | SETI@home | Task 05jn15aa.25293.8656.438086664204.12.200_0 is 90.48 days overdue; you may not get credit for it. Consider aborting it.

Your tasks are late, they have been completed by your wingmen, reissued to new wingmen because your results were late, then validated, and purged (removed) from the Boinc database,
You might as well abort any tasks you have on board, and get fresh tasks.

When did you receive this work from Seti?

Is it past it's due date?

It is possible it has been completed by other wingmen, validated, then purged from the database.

Please post your Boinc startup from the Event Log, the first 50 lines should do.

Check the Boinc startup in the Event Log, it should tell you exactly where the Boinc Data directory is,
On Windows it's a hidden directory, expect it's the same on a Mac.

Aside: I'm "subscribed" to this thread, once because I clicked on the "Subscribe" button, and, I suspect, also because of my posts, but I've gotten NO emails to tell me about new posts here. Is something amiss with that feature of these boards?

What have you got your preferences set to:

Like I said before you posted again:
It's possible that the project you had work for has none at the moment. That's something you have to look up on the project's website.
It's also possible that you returned only errors and are at your maximum amount allowed errors in a row, that's also something you can look up on the project's website.

Your log also shows that, in some sense:
11/21/2015 1:40:29 PM | pogs | Project has no tasks available

And to back it up, Pogs's Server Status page

Tasks ready to send 0

And the task page for his host:

Hope you downloaded the correct version, i.e. the 32bit version of the installer as I'm sure the 64bit version will not work on XP. Else try this one https://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/boinc_7.6.9_windows_intelx86.exe

Unless it's XP 64 bit!!!

If you would like to give a chance for a newer test version, there's 7.6.15 :

http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=10204&postid=65329#65329

But that runs the client at a reduced priority, making Boinc/Boinc Manager and application performance suffer, not an adviceable upgrade until the developers back out of those changes.

BOINC will auto-update the list. You may need to restart the client, though. Not sure. I just opened it and had the new list.

Checked my Samsung S5 mini host running Boinc 7.4.41, Universe@Home is also shown.

Some years ago, I bought a Samsung N220 laptop, with Windows 7 (Home version) on it, for general use - I updated it to 2048 MB RAM, the maximum allowed. I added some BOINC programs to it and everything seemed fine.

For clarification, a Samsung N220 isn't a Laptop, But a Netbook, powered by an Intel Atom N450 processor, I have one myself, It is hardly the speediest thing out there.

Did the project servers go down? I received 3 tasks, which have since completed, but the data refuses to upload. It will say 'uploading' for about 2 or 3 minutes, upload no data, then 'attempt to retry in [several hours]'. Meanwhile I have 11 days 39 hours worth of data sitting on the computer. I don't want to abort it and have it go to waste...

Have a read of the News on Project Outages thread.

To force uploads, open BOINC Manager, Advanced view, Projects tab, select the project of choice and click Update. The Update command will immediately upload any outstanding uploads, download outstanding downloads and report any work ready to report.

Don't think doing that forces uploads, Try doing a 'Retry pending transfers' instead.

38) Message boards : Questions and problems : only 20 percent CPU? (Message 63925)
Posted 30 Aug 2015 by Claggy
Post:
Use at most N% of the CPUs set to 90% only dropped the number of tasks from 9 to 8. It still won't use more than 20-25% or so. I don't think anything is overworked. It's more like under-worked...? I don't know why.

Sounds like an OS side scheduling problem, rather than a Boinc problem, If Boinc starts 7 or 8 CPU tasks, the OS should schedule them across the available CPU cores.

The only way to resolve such errors is to try different drivers until you find one that's more solid than the rest.

Or find you why the app is driving the Video card so hard, and fix that.

This is a project GPU application problem, please tell us what project this is with, and what application.
