Hey there Steve Kind of a fluke i saw your post here. This board is pretty quiet and was just passing by when I noticed you. Your interests may help you to pick a project, SETI@home for Extra Terrestrial Comm., Rosetta for Cancer Research, Malariacontrol for ...... well you get the idea. All of the Projects do as much as they can to help out newcomers. I am "crunching" the previous as well as World community grid and AstropulseBeta. I think there are 30 or so active projects.
