I prefer Advanced View over Simple View. However, I'd like to stay with it 100% of the time but can't, because I have to occasionally switch to Simple View to access the customized prefs so I can lower CPU usage to leave overnight. That is the only thing in Simple View that seems to be missing on Advanced View

"Report completed work, get latest credit, get latest prefs, etc.."

"## Retry Communications: retry any deferred communications. "
I prefer the website's description. The client describes it as if it were the Update button..

I think that the 1st link called Boinc Manager should link to http://boinc.berkeley.edu/manager.php and not http://boinc.berkeley.edu/help.php

Or you guys should rename it to Boinc Manager Help and make a new menu with Boinc Help in general? Saying BOINC Manager implies launching of an app.
