Posted 19 Dec 2006 by Barbablanca Post: Where did you download it from? No Ageless, the downloads pages is clever enough to detect your OS. When I click on "downloads" from the BOINC site I am offered the Linux version of 5.4.11 and no other version. I assume the same happens to you and that you're running windows. I can send you a screenshot of the downloads page that I see on BOINC if you need convincing. Cheers, BB |

Problem with version 5.4.11 on Debian
(Message 7018)
Posted 19 Dec 2006 by Barbablanca Post: I'd like to point out a minor problem with the latest version of BOINC Manager when run on Debian Etch (2.6.17 Kernel). The Website buttons the the Tasks panel no longer work. In 5.4.9 the functioned correctly and a new tab in my firefox was opened pointing to the correct URL (team, results, etc.). In 5.4.11, however I get this output: execvp(gedit, http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/team_display.php?teamid=30242) failed with error 2! execvp(gedit, http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?userid=8513527) failed with error 2! and the browser does not open. Could this be a bug with the new version? I haven't changed any setting between 5.4.9 and 5.4.11 Thanks |
